About the
Co-Hosts
The co-hosts of the 19th World Orchid
Conference®
are the Ft. Lauderdale Orchid Society and the South
Florida Orchid Society. Both organizations have been actively
helping orchidists in South Florida for over 50 years. The societies
hold monthly meetings and an annual show in their respective areas.
They come together in 2008 to co-host this fabulous event at the
Sheraton Miami Mart Hotel!
Mr. Robert Fuchs of the South Florida Orchid Society and Col. Kenneth Kone of the Fort Lauderdale Orchid
Society are the Co-Chairmen of the conference. Both gentlemen are well-known and respected throughout the
orchid world and have chaired many major shows. Both of these societies produce outstanding orchid shows
annually and their expertise is expected to produce a World Orchid Conference that is unsurpassed! The 2008
event will be only the 4th time that a World Orchid Conference has been held in the United States
so you won’t want to miss it!
